Are you worried that your child hasn't developed a desire to read yet? Don't worry! You aren't the only one. A problem we often experience here is children who are reluctant to read. Whether it be that they don't feel they are a strong reader, have no interest in reading, or that they struggle with a learning disability, it can cause them to fall behind in their reading level. Reading is a skill that can effect performance in multiple subject areas and if a student's skills are undeveloped it can hold them back from their full potential.
Here at the Tutoring Center League City, we offer a highly individualized program for students who need help in reading as well as writing. Your child will learn the skills that are necessary for both reading fluency and comprehension. In addition to learning from one-on-one tutoring sessions, students will also benefit from other reading opportunities outside of the classroom. There are many good ways to develop your child's reading skills and interests such as: reading aloud to them or enrolling them in a summer reading club through your local library.
